Donations to Friends of Shipe Park support the many efforts we make to preserve, beautiful, and improve our beloved neighborhood park. The main annual events we have are:
- It’s My Park Day at Shipe Park, 1st Saturday in March
- Shipe Pool Party, Mid-June
- Halloween Movie Night, Late October
We also work around the year to advocate for the park with and along with the city. We do our best to be conduits for communication to the community about news and information related to Shipe Park.
To donate to Friends of Shipe Park, use our online donation form at the Austin Parks Foundation website. APF acts as our fiduciary partner and provides donors a record of their donation for tax purposes. The link to the donation is below. Thank you for your support!

Event Sponsorships
We are always delighted to have the support of local businesses and individuals who want to contribute to our work to sustain and beautify Shipe Park! Becoming a sponsor for one of our events is a great way to support this work and be known by our community as a steward of our beloved green space! Sponsorship Levels are:
Park Champion $500 – Presenting Sponsor. Logo and business website printed on all posters, FOSP website, Facebook, neighborhood listserve, and the Pecan Press. Online publicity will offer a hyperlink to your business’s web page.
Park Hero $250-500 – Single Event Sponsor. Business logo printed on all posters, FOSP social media and the Pecan Press
Park Partner $150-250 – Program Sponsor. Business name printed on social media and Pecan Press. Day of poster displayed in park will also list name.
Park Friend under $150 – Supporting Sponsor. Business name listed on social media, Pecan Press, and posters at events.
In-Kind Donations: (contractors, musicians, lighting and technical assistance for events, food, etc.) Acknowledgment of contribution depends on the business and type of donation.
