It’s My Park Day at Shipe Park!

Saturday, March 2, 2024, 10am-1pm

Join friends and neighbors for the annual, family-friendly cleanup and landscape maintenance of Shipe Park. Come pitch in to improve our play areas, show love to our trees, clean up Waller Creek, and prepare the park for the year ahead. For parents, it’s a perfect opportunity to teach kids the value of stewardship and volunteerism!

Friends of Shipe Park (FOSP) will host It’s My Park Day (IMPD) at Shipe Park on Saturday, March 2, from 10am to 1pm. Sign-up to attend on the Austin Parks Foundation website. (Advance sign-up is required, and volunteer spaces are limited.)

Our good friends at Quack’s 43rd Street Bakery are donating delicious goodies to power our work! And we will be marching through the workday with the funky sounds of Blowcomotion, our wonderful community big brass band!

IMPD at Shipe Park is a wonderful community event that helps the park and brings neighbors together! There is nothing like getting outdoors with a bunch of friendly folks to care for and improve our shared spaces. Come join us!
